REEZA is Dennis van Rijswijk, a Rotterdam DJ and producer making new work from the music he grew up with.
ROOTS IN ROTTERDAM
Rotterdam gabber was made for a loud system and a full floor. REEZA started producing at twelve, and that music still sits at the centre of his sets: hard kicks, direct rhythm and records that do not need explaining.
The sets are not nostalgia nights. Old records sit next to new productions, vinyl sits next to digital files, and the energy has to work in the room now.
RELEASES ON VINYL
REEZA has released on House of Madness, K.N.O.R., Mokum, Rave Instincts and Next-Gen Hardcore. Astral Projection, Untitled and Take Control are part of a catalogue built for DJs and listeners who still care about the record.

LIVE SETS
REEZA has played Harmony of Hardcore, Titanium, Hellbound and Gabberland, as well as shows outside the Netherlands. The sets move through gabber and early hardcore, with vinyl still part of the picture.

ROTTERDAM RAVE CULTURE
Dennis van Rijswijk co-directed Rotterdam Rave Culture: 30 Years of Heritage with Holly Dicker. The 45-minute documentary follows the city’s rave culture from the nineties to the post-pandemic present through archive material and interviews with DJs, organisers and ravers. Dennis also handled cinematography, editing, sound design and music.
The film and the music come from the same place: Rotterdam’s rave culture is not an archive. It is still being made by DJs, dancers, organisers and everyone in the room.
